Warm greetings to our tuakana class Takahe in Wesley Primary School. Thank you for allowing us to see the beautiful and interesting learning experiences in your wonderful kura.
Your blogs have shown us how much fun you are having in your journey to be the best that you possibly can be!

Our Maunga is called Waipura

Our River is called Taruheru
The Waka that we descend from is called Takitimu
Our Iwi / Tribe is called Te Aitanga a Mahaki
Our local Tribe is called Te Whanau a Iwi
Our School is Riverdale School / Te Waimarino
We are called Te Arai

Today we got to look at your blog and loved it.  After this we sat with Koka Amie who is our Manaiakalani Support Teacher.  She helped us to map out our learning that we have completed so far.

There is so much learning that we are doing right now.  We are helping one another to achieve our goals.  Together we are so much wiser and smarter!  E hara taku toa i te toa takitahi, he toa taki maha ke!

Several students in our class have very good memories and like to help others who need support.  Even Matua Raniera forgets sometimes and the students in our class keep him up with the play.

The learners in Te Arai think of all kinds of ways that they can add x factor to their mahi!  Each person in our class is so special.  That what makes us unique.  If we put our special talents together there is nothing that we cannot achieve!

You are special also Takahe, there is so much that we can learn from each other!
