Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori! Challenge!

Imagine that you turned up to class to learn and it was playing video games!  What would you do?

How crazy is that!  Well next week is a celebration of te reo Maori. Te Arai will be creating their own video game in te reo Maori!

Would you like to do this?

Here is a video of Matua Raniera's Pepeha Game!

Matua Raniera said to his class "In the real world I can jump as high and run as fast as my digital me in my game! Perhaps even higher and faster?"

Please enjoy!  We will be posting our student games soon on our blogs when we are finished!

  1. Kia ora Te Arai,
Ka mau te wehi! I love that you are designing your own te reo games! Can you please explain to me how you are creating them when I visit next? I'd love to learn some skills from you. One of my favourite parts of this blog post is that you remembered to add an exciting image too. This really captured my attention and made me want to read your mahi! Ka pai to mahi! See you soon!

  2. Kia ora Te Arai,
I have been looking at your blogs and am so impressed by the mahi you have been posting on your blogs. They are so good to look at that I am going to tell Waihirere to take a look at the amazing mahi you have been posting.
Waihirere would love you to teach us about the games you are making like Matua Raniera's. How do you make them? Maybe you could make a screencast to teach us what you have learnt?
    Ka kite,
    Koka Ubby and Waihirere.
