Te Rei Forbes: Adventurer in the Mighty USA!

Early last week Te Rei and his mum packed their bags to travel to Hawaii in the Mighty USA.

Their destination is from Auckland to Hawaii, then Hawaii to Vegas.  This morning Te Rei sent us a photo of him arriving in Vegas.  He looked very excited.

We were able to email him back to say how we were feeling.

  1. Kia ora Te Arai,
What a neat idea to share your experience here of communicating with a classmate who's travelling! Isn't it so cool to be able to see where Te Rei has been visiting! My favourite part of this post was reading all the kind comments you wrote for your email to Te Rei. I bet he loved hearing them when he was so far away from home. I wonder what his favourite experience has been overseas... what he's liked the best. Keep up the great work! You're star bloggers!

  2. Tēnā koutou . Exciting to be able to read about Te Rai's travels and to see what Te Arai had to say to him. You had some good questions so I hope you get to know more about his trip. Dave Winter

Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say
Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
