Our Opinions: A Coke Machine for free!

Our Opinions: 'Currently we are upgrading our school.  We are deciding wether or not we should put a brand new Coke machine outside to replace our water fountains!'

Learning Intension:
We are learning how to persuade others

Success Criteria:

  • State your arguement
  • Use 'I believe' (State your position on the arguement)
  • Use 'so, or because' (Give a 'strong' reason why you think this way!)

Here are our examples so far!

Should we replace our water fountains with coke machines? I believe that we should not replace the water fountains with coke machines because.....

Sarhys 'drinking too much coke is not healthy, too much sugar could lead to us getting diabete's'

Yoziah ' drinking too much coke would make the children at Riverdale School be too hypo, then we would not be able to learn'

Gabriel 'drinking too much coke would make our teeth rot, that is not cool!'

Raniera and Jasmine 'some people would be greedy and perhaps be bullies at the coke machine, arguments over it would happen!'

Matua Raniera said, 'I agree, sometimes I need a pick me up when I am sleepy, drinking diet coke would be better than drinking coffee,'

Raquoi ' drinking coke too much would rot your insides out.  Coke is like acid!'
